Register a domain in the organisation's name, then choose website design (from $550 a year, with hosting and email), web hosting (from $30 a year, with unlimited mailboxes) or business email alone ($5 a month for up to 50 people). Tremhost provides line-item quotations and US-dollar invoices you can pay for the full project term.
- Register the domain in the organisation's name. .org.zw is for non-profits and similar organisations in Zimbabwe: it is $15 a year and needs a signed letter on the organisation's letterhead. A .co.zw ($6.99 a year) needs only accurate details, and .org and .ngo are international options. See other .zw domains and domain prices.
- Choose the setup that fits the work (table below).
- Get a quotation for the budget. Message us on WhatsApp with the project and its term. You get a line-item quotation from Tremhost Pvt Ltd, a registered Zimbabwean company, and US-dollar invoices. You can pay yearly or for the whole project term up front.
- Create mailboxes, including role addresses such as programmes@, finance@ and info@, so mail stays with the organisation when staff move on (guide).
- Protect sensitive data. If you hold beneficiary information such as health records or ID numbers, encrypt staff laptops (ESET, from $16.50 a device a year) and put the website behind a firewall.

Free Cloudflare protection for eligible NGOs
Cloudflare's Project Galileo protects eligible public-interest organisations at no cost: human rights, civil society, journalism and democracy groups at risk of attack. We can assess whether you are likely to qualify, help you apply and, if you're accepted, manage the setup. If you don't qualify, Armor Guard puts Cloudflare Pro-grade protection in front of the site for $9 a month.
Tip: Don't register the domain or the client-area account with a staff member's personal Gmail. When the project or the person moves on, the organisation must still be able to log in.
- Do you give NGO discounts?
- We price per project: tell us your budget and we'll recommend what fits.
- What happens when the project ends?
- The domain, content and email belong to your organisation. You can renew them, move them to another programme or transfer them to another provider.
- Where is our data hosted?
- We put it in writing before we start, so you can check it against the Cyber and Data Protection Act's rules on transfers outside Zimbabwe. See what the Act means for your website.
Send us your project and budget on WhatsApp and we'll put a quotation together.
