How do I install WordPress?

Use the one-click WordPress installer in cPanel. It takes about two minutes and sets up the database for you.

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Under Software, open WordPress Manager by Softaculous (or Softaculous Apps Installer and choose WordPress).
3. Click Install.
4. Choose the domain. Leave In Directory empty to install on the main address (yourdomain.com).
5. Set the site name, admin username, a strong password and the admin email. Do not use admin as the username.
6. Click Install. When it finishes you get the admin link, usually yourdomain.com/wp-admin.

Tip: Install on https:// once your free SSL is active, so links are created with https from the start.
