How do I change my cPanel password?

Change it from the client area, on your hosting plan’s page, or inside cPanel under Password & Security.

From the client area

1. Sign in to the client area, open Services and click the plan.
2. Click Change Password, enter the new password twice and save. If you do not see the option, use the cPanel method below.

Inside cPanel

1. Open Preferences → Password & Security.
2. Enter the old and new passwords and click Change your password now!

Tip: Use a password you use nowhere else, and switch on two-factor authentication under Security → Two-Factor Authentication.
