Open a support ticket for the server, say how many extra IPv4 addresses you need and what each one is for, and we will confirm whether they are available for that server and what they cost. Extra IP addresses are not on our price list, so they are quoted on request.
What’s included already
| Service | IPv4 addresses included |
|---|---|
| KVM VPS (every plan) | 1 |
| Dedicated servers (every plan) | 2 |
| VPS reseller | 1 free for every VM in your plan |
How to ask for more
- Open a support ticket and choose the server the addresses are for.
- Say how many addresses you need and what each one is for, for example a separate mail server or a client who needs their own address.
- We reply with availability and the price in writing. For anything not on our price list, we aim to quote within one business day.
- Pay the invoice in the client area under Billing → My Invoices.
- Set up the new address once it is assigned to your server. On an unmanaged KVM VPS, you add it to the network configuration yourself: Netplan on Ubuntu, NetworkManager on AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux. Keep the VNC console in the VPS control panel open in case a mistake cuts your connection. On a managed cPanel VPS or dedicated server, ask us to add it, or add it in WHM under IP Functions → Add a New IP Address.
IPv4 addresses are scarce worldwide, and providers usually have to justify every one they hand out. A clear reason for each address in your ticket gets you an answer faster.
You may not need another IP
- For SSL: no. Free SSL works for many sites sharing one address.
- For more websites: no. One IP address can serve hundreds of sites.
- For email reputation: sometimes. Sending bulk mail from its own address keeps it away from your website’s address.
- For many small client servers: look at VPS reseller, where every VM gets its own free IPv4 address.
