Most of our resellers are freelance designers, web developers, marketers, or agencies who just want to bundle hosting with the websites they already build.
WHMCS is the industry-standard billing and client-management software for hosting businesses. It automates invoicing, payment collection, hosting-account provisioning, and support tickets. You don’t strictly need it — you can manually create accounts in WHM and invoice clients however you like — but once you have more than 5–10 clients, it pays for itself in time saved. It’s included free on Reseller 5 and above.
You pay Tremhost via Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, EcoCash, InnBucks, Bitcoin, TRON, Litecoin, ZimSwitch, or bank transfer. How your clients pay you is up to you — you can plug Paystack, Flutterwave, PayFast, PayPal, EcoCash, or any gateway into WHMCS and bill in any currency you choose.
Every plan includes unlimited cPanel accounts, white-label branding, and all the security/performance features. The differences are storage, bandwidth, and whether WHMCS billing software is included free. If you’re just starting out, Reseller 1 ($7/mo) is plenty. If you want automated billing from day one, Reseller 5 ($19/mo) is the sweet spot — WHMCS alone retails around $18.95/mo. You can upgrade later without downtime.
Your clients will see your brand on the cPanel login, your custom nameservers (e.g. ns1.yourbrand.com), and your WHMCS portal. The underlying infrastructure is Tremhost, but it’s invisible to end users — the only place “Tremhost” appears is in your own billing relationship with us.
Migration is free. Our team handles it for you — just send us your existing cPanel logins (or other host credentials) and we’ll transfer your websites, emails, and databases with minimal downtime.
