Monkey Pox: Could It Be Similar To Covid-19

What Is Monkey Pox?

Monkeypox Is an ongoing outbreak that is similar to small pox and it is believed to have been transmitted to humans from animals.

As stated by the Word Health Organization (WHO), the first case of monkey pox was recorded in 1970 and this was in the Republic of Zaire now known as the Republic of Congo/DRC.

At first, monkeypox was believed to have occurred only in Central and West Africa. However, the spread of this virus has been increasingly spreading across urban areas and in 2003, the first case recorded outside Africa was in the United States and this one case, led to more than 50 more cases in the United States alone.

This disease or virus was later identified again on the 22nd of May 2022 with most of these cases being discovered in the United Kingdom.

Dissemination of Monkeypox.

The transmission of this disease can occur in different ways, and one way this can happen is through close contact or direct contact with infected rodents or lab animals such as rats, squirrels or even rabbits.

5 things to know about monkeypox after a new case appeared in U.S.
An example of how the pox look like on the palms.

Monkeypox can also spread from person to person in different ways and some of the ways it could spread could be though direct contact with someone with the disease, face to face contact and at times even during intimate physical contact such as kissing, cuddling or sexual intercourse.

Symptoms of Monkeypox

Dr Rosamund from World Health Organization says monkey pox is a moderate disease and also says that people that have monkey pox or conduct it do not become very ill.

However, some of the symptoms of monkey pox include, back pains, lack of energy, muscle aches, swelling of lymph nodes and one typical feature of this disease is that they appear like measles, chicken pox or even small pox.

In 95% of the cases, monkey pox tend to be more concentrated on the face and in some cases on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet.

This disease could also have some secondary effects and one of these effects include infection of the cornea which could result in loss of vision.

Treatment of the disease

If someone is suspected to have monkeypox of if you suspect to have contaminated the disease then you should quickly visit a health sector and the health workers should assist you through taking the necessary samples. the health workers should also assist you through taking the necessary fluids and food that will help you to maintain the suitable nutritional status.

Conclusion

Compared to Covid -19, we have seen that the monkey pox disease has less effects compared to the corona virus. for instance, we have seen that monkey pox has a lower death rate and the secondary effects are way better compared to what we know about the secondary effects of the corona virus.

So what then are the further steps we need to take to stay safe from the monkey pox disease?

One way to do this could be through practicing good hygiene and this could be through washing our hands with clean running water after being in contact with infected or suspected infected humans or animals.

So let’s all stay safe and may we all practice good hygiene in order to end the spread of the disease.

Is Video Assistant Referee (V.A.R) to Blame In The Game Of Football

According to the oxford dictionary, the word blame means the responsibility for doing something badly or even wrongly. The question that comes from this is should we blame video assistant referee for ruining the game of football. We are all aware of the fact that football has always been a game where the referees calls have been final. However, the introduction of video assistant referee (VAR) has influenced this and has been seen by some as trying to ruin the already perfect game of football.

In as much as people might say VAR has had a negative influence on the game of football, it has really saved different teams from receiving bad calls due to the referees view being obstructed or them just being too far to make an informed call. For example, on the 27th of February in the 2021/22 season Liverpool 11 Chelsea 10, the Chelsea’s sides goal was disallowed due to a slight offside from Romelu Lukaku allowing Liverpool to win the game in penalties and we can safely say VAR saved Liverpool after the referee had made a bad call.Lukaku's "offside" and vertical lines accuracy? : r/chelseafc

In a recent report by sky sports, FIFA claimed that they where really satisfied with the way VAR is being used across the world and this shows that it is in fact that VAR has ultimately led to a significant increase in correct decisions and this is something FIFA is both proud and pleased with.

At first glance, it might seem as if all fans hate VAR, but like all things, it has its few supporters. For example, in a survey conducted by BBC sport , 30% of the people thought VAR had improved the game and the remaining 70% thought that it had completely ruined the game of football. I however think that the provision of VAR is a step in the right direction as it shows that FIFA cares a lot about the sport to the extent of wanting calls to be accurate to the millimeter

As football fans we are quick to complain about VAR but we tend to forget that we are the ones that where crying for more precise calls, blaming referees left, right and center and even calling them incompetent at their jobs. Not just us, but our beloved football stars as well. for example, in a world cup qualifier match where Serbia drew to Portugal 2 all Christiano Ronaldo was robbed of late match deciding goal and the Portuguese star was left distraught after feeling let down by the absence of VAR and this shows that football stars actually appreciate the provision of VAR..

After a careful examination of the question, I have realized that it is all about opinion and some people prefer the new perfectionist style of football, while others would rather stick to their old historical way of playing the sport. like all other things operated by humans, VAR is prone to human error and mistakes can be made so it would be unfair for us to completely blame the decline of football on a number of individuals.

A Simple Way to A Mans Heart

0

In Zimbabwe there is a vernacular saying that says hukama igasva hunobatinidzwa nekudya which means relationships are hardly complete until you share a meal! it was through this saying that I got to realize that food is actually one of the words with more than one meaning, for example, according to Merriam webstar.com, food is material consisting essentially of protein, carbohydrates and  fat and according to the oxford dictionary food is any substance that people or animals eat or drink. However, according to my own understanding, food is what brings people together.Sharing Food Pictures | Download Free Images on Unsplash

There is a simple saying that you have probably heard of that says a way to a mans heart is through his stomach. this saying really shows a clear and straight forward way to reaching any persons heart, .whether you are asking for forgiveness or whether you want to please someone so bad the simple way could be through inviting them over for a cup of tea or even for lunch. Inviting someone over for a meal is a simple way of communicating love and through this there is a more relaxed vibe about being at home.100+ People Eating Pictures [HD] | Download Free Images on Unsplash

Food can also make people happier there is a saying that says a hungry man is an angry man so the only way you can make someone happy could be through food. According to the poll, 41 percent say they reach for comfort foods because they bring them happiness, while 39 percent say these types of foods provide them with something to look forward to in these uncertain times. And 33 percent say it offers “stress relief.” other people say that the more food they eat, the more happier, less depressed and more satisfied they are with their lives which is a way that really puts out the way people value their food.100+ People Eating Pictures [HD] | Download Free Images on Unsplash

To conclude, if you are struggling to make people happy or if you ever feel as if people do not appreciate you, consider making a top tier meal for them and trust me there will be a dramatic change in the way people value you and treat you.

Blood & Water Season 3: What to expect

Can’t wait for Blood & Water season 3? We took a look at how things went down in season 2 and predict what will likely happen in season 3.

By the way, Season 2 was a banger!

Spoiler Alert: if you haven’t watched season 2 of Blood & Water then please come back here when you have watched it.

Here is a recap of season 2:

Episode 1: New Kid Syndrome

A painful past meets an uncertain present as Fiks struggles with her identity. Meanwhile, a shocking request threatens to hamper Puleng’s progress.

Let’s just say this season hit the ground running with a packed starting episode.

Episode 2: Mayday

As Fiks grapples with a personal decision, Reece weighs the risk and reward of a new side hustle. Puleng plans a party with the help of a loyal friend.

Reece has rich friends, can’t she just ask for help? She may not want to burden them of course but keeping secrets from friends is bad enough. What are friends for?

Episode 3: The Source

Dealing with a setback, Puleng asks for a favor. KB receives big news and faces a tough critic. A school assignment sparks entrepreneurial interest.

Chris and Wendy started here. The chemistry is there.

I really liked the tough love shown by KB’s dad in this episode. Kids from privilege should not forget that everything requires hard work.

Episode 4: Spiyoyo

Tension mounts between Puleng and Wade, a lavish tea party takes shape, Reece raises the stakes of her game, and Fiks encounters a sweet surprise.

This episode answered the question we all had: when it come down to a fight between Wade and KB who would get kicked? The question was answered and it was not quite surprising. There is generally something about shy people: they have something hidden, something they can do well. Wade has been training for moments like those.

Episode 5: Puleng vs. The World

Fiks and Puleng chase a new lead … and deal with the consequences. Reece agrees to a new responsibility, and KB prepares for a performance.

How can a student raise R3500 in a day? We adults struggle with that but we knew we could always count on Pulengs wit and dertermination.

Episode 6: Dark Times

An outburst reshapes Puleng’s and Fikile’s next steps. Elsewhere, KB faces the music after a rogue decision, and Reece reaches her breaking point.

I give this episode to Chris. He is very loyal and protective with his friends. Something Wendy admires, it is a matter of time before they kiss, it’s inevitable.

Episode 7: Family Matters

After a string of shake-ups, Fiks receives more news, Puleng reconsiders her love life, and the case takes a shocking turn during a pivotal party.

KB saves the day for Chris and Wendy. He goes backstage to kiss Puleng, Fiks see them. It’s a complicated love triangle for Wade, KB and Puleng. Who should we feel sorry for?

The inevitable happens: Chris and Wendy finally kiss but we do not get to see how it started.

On to what you are here for: Season 3

Based on what happens in season 2, it seems very likely that all our Blood & Water faves will come back for season 3: Ama Qamata (Puleng), Khosi Ngema (Fikile), Thabang Molaba (KB), Dillon Windvogel (Wade), Arno Greef (Chris), Ryle de Morny (Chad), Natasha Tahane (Wendy), Mekaila Mathys (Tahira), Cindy Mahlangu (Zama) and Duane Williams (Mark).

We also imagine that Greteli Fincham (Reece), Katishcka Chanderlal (Pauline) and Alzavia Abrahams (Zayd) will return as they had more prominent roles in season 2. Not to mention, there will likely be some new characters.

Chris and Wendy

This relationship is going to be complicated and painful primarily because of Chris’s reputation and sexual orientation. It is nice seeing Wendy in love, she is very driven and hardworking and in Chris’s words: “she is destined for great things.” However, Chris could potentially damage her if Mark and Zama keep within the radar. On the bright side, Chris has demonstrated and displayed loyalty to his friends; we just wish it will be the same towards Wendy.

The love triangle: Wade, KB & Puleng

Who is Puleng going to Choose? Wade. She is going to choose Wade but that relationship is going to be cracked as KB and Puleng will likely spend time together researching/finding KB’s mum. There could potentially be a “work together” scene between the three but ultimately Wade is going to win in season 3.

Fiks finding her father

This will not happen in season 3, no; Fiks will likely find her father in season 4. In season 3 we are likely going to see her and Puleng chasing lead after lead, but wait- Puleng’s mum should know the father! Of course, it’s going to be finding him that will cause problems.

The Khumalos

This family is up for some rough times, things are about to get messy but at the end of the day they will resolve it.

Sam and Fiks

We hope these two will date but it is very unlikely given the situation between the families. Anyway, teens will be teens; waiting to see how they get around family drama to find love.

Zama and Mark

These two are going to give it a try. It will not really workout as Mark isn’t really into girls, is he? That may change and the relationship might last. There is a higher chance it will not work.

Reece and her mum

Reece is going to fight with the mother and some accident will happen. The accident will probably compromise the mothers health.

That’s it guys, what to expect- not what will happen. It’s hit and miss but from where things are going, some of the stuff above might actually happen.

5 Things you need to know about Domain Registration

Domain name registration in Zimbabwe is becoming a thing as the country becomes aware of the vast need to do business online. Just 5 years ago, having a website was seen as a luxury and very few companies invested in one. Today, if you are not online; you are not in business. The internet has a wide reach and you cannot miss out on the opportunity to reach new people.

If you are just here to buy a domain name please click here or access this link: https://www.tremhost.com/domains.html

What is a Domain Name?

A domain name is an internet address/name that people use to find you. If it wasnt for domain names we would be using numbers to locate web pages (trust me that would have been work), so essentially a domain name converts those numbers for us in words we can understand. At the end of the day you have domain names like tremhost.com, tremhost.co.zw and tr.co.zw.

Which TLD should you get?

You now know what a domain name is, but you are probably confused with which one you should get. The are many tlds (extensions) e.g .co.zw, .com, .net, .org, .biz, .co.za, .info and bazillion others so which one should you take? Well, it depends. Which tld you should get depends largely on your business location. Are you operating in Zimbabwe? Great, a .co.zw is good for you! You operating in South Africa? Get a .co.za. You are international? Get .com!

The honest truth is that you can get away with any tld but if you are targeting a specific location then you are far better off with a location based tld. A .co.zw, .ac.zw or .org.zw is what we call a country level tld and they are really good if you are based in that particular country. Org tld is good if you run an organisation or some charity then .net is good if you have some kind of network or networking going on. You see where this is going? Biz, for business, .co for company, there is an abundance of tlds you can choose for your domain name. In my opinion, if you do not have an international market and do not intend to then stick with local tlds: .co.zw, .co.ac, .org.zw.

Domain Name Billing Cycle

A domain name, unfortunately is not bought once and keep it forever, no. A domain name is renewed every year so you are going to find yourself being billed every year. There is an option of course to register a domain name for up to 10 years depending with your registrar.

Can you resell domain names for a profit?

Yes. Domain names are a major profit point these days. There are 2 ways to make money from reselling domain names:

  1. Find nice discounts from a domain name registrar and put a markup then register for your clients.
  2. Register a domain name then sale it for a higher price on sedo.com

Some people are making 6 figures out of this, the determining factor for success is largely based on research, timing and sometimes just lick.

Where can you register a domain name?

Short Case Study: Naiza Boom Secret Sauce For Growth

If you are from Zimbabwe or you are outside Zimbabwe and you have:

  1. access to Youtube
  2. you understand Shona

Then you probably watched at least an episode from Naiza Boom. If you haven’t then Naiza Boom still had this article written about them. This is not just an article, it is an in-depth case study that was done in-house by Tremhost Marketing to figure out what makes Naiza Boom tick. Tremhost decided to publish the case study to help marketers, content creators and anyone who wants to learn principles for growth in the internet age. We did the hard work for you so that you wouldn’t, however, the information below is based on our research and observations that means that some things may not be accurate. With that said, we believe we did our best to do justice to the case study and compress it for a quick digest.

1.Great Talent. Imagine having an all-star team of Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe… you see where I am going? That team is most likely going to be the team of the decade and the same can be said about Naiza Boom. Naiza Boom Comedy features popular comedian Dhafu (Cathy Chapungu), Jatiwero (Terrence Chirinda), Jedza (Takunda Claude Nyakabau) and Paida (Shyline Chalimba) among others and really this is a very, very talented team. You cannot go wrong with a talented team unless if you try hard to lose. Naiza Boom is where it is today because of the talent it hires/features. The first secret sauce for growth we noticed from Naiza Boom is: hiring/featuring great talent.

2.Content People Can Relate To. Great talent will not take you far if you make crappy content. Fortunately for Naiza Boom, they create content we Zimbabweans relate to- the locations, the language, the sets, dressing; it’s different from Korean Movies. Entertainment hits home when you find yourself saying, “hey I’ve done that!”, “ohh yeah yeah people like that are my neighbors!”. Naiza Boom captures our feelings and experiences and the characters are people who sound, behave and act like the people that are around us. Let credit go where it is due, Naiza Boom is a master of content creation and engagement. Lesson: make things people can relate to, things people will love and you will scale and grow your business.

3.Consistency. If Naiza Boom had 3 videos on their channel then there is no way they would have got to 150K+ subscribers. No way. Naiza Boom knows that people need consistent food (entertainment) and when people starve, they leave. Naiza meets the demands of their audience by pumping out episodes every single day! Pause for a moment…. It is not easy to release content everyday now imagine releasing quality content every single day. Mind Blowing. These guys are on steroids, that is the only explanation for their quality and consistency. Lesson: don’t do something once and expect things to just fall in place. Keep on grinding and eventually things will pick up.

4.Friendly to the Fans. The problem with some content creators once they hit a milestone is that they become overly cocky and plain rude to fans forgetting that the same fans are the ones that got them there. Naiza Boom is different, we haven’t seen a rude comment or insult to a fan. In fact, they thank their fans all the time and this keeps fans happy. We hope this trend continues. Lesson: if you want to get out of business fast then ignore, insult and fight with users/fans/clients. If you want growth then stay friendly to fans, musaganzire maFans.

5.Quality: Don’t be ZBC. None of the above matters if Naiza Boom was shooting videos on a 2008 Gtel phone, the content will be an eye sore. Quality matters, that is why ZBC is pretty much dead- showers every time and who uses analog in this day and age? Geez. There is no doubt that Naiza Boom made investments in their video equipment, even the audio quality is good and that goes a long way. Lesson: you do not need expensive equipment to get started but you need decent equipment that by the least- doesn’t suck. Reasonable quality goes a long way, just start with good equipment then scale from there. Just start in your room then with time get an office. We stand by Naiza Boom and hope they get 4k video quality soon.

Apple Has Just Widen The Gap With The New M1 Ipad

0

The Apple Ipad Pro has been the undisputed leader in the tablet arena. No other tablet came close in terms of performance, efficiency and everything else. We would have expected the competition to catch up but…. it is too late now. The M1 chip has just widened that gap.

Apple today announced the most powerful and advanced iPad Pro ever, pushing the limits of what’s possible on iPad. The addition of the Apple-designed M1 chip delivers a massive leap in performance, making iPad Pro the fastest device of its kind. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro features a new Liquid Retina XDR display that brings extreme dynamic range to iPad Pro, offering a stunning visual experience with more true-to-life details to the most demanding HDR workflows. Cellular models with 5G deliver even faster wireless connectivity when on the go, and to provide users with pro-level throughput for high-speed accessories, iPad Pro now includes support for Thunderbolt. Additionally, an all-new Ultra Wide front camera enables Center Stage, a new feature that automatically keeps users perfectly framed for even more engaging video calls. The new iPad Pro is available to order beginning Friday, April 30, on apple.com, and will be available in the second half of May.
“The revolutionary M1 chip has been a breakthrough for the Mac, and we’re incredibly excited to bring it to iPad Pro,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “With M1’s huge jump in performance, a groundbreaking extreme dynamic range experience on the 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, up to 2TB of high-speed storage, Thunderbolt expansion, a four-speaker audio system, pro cameras with LiDAR Scanner, blazing-fast 5G connectivity, an amazing video-calling experience with Center Stage — combined with the advanced features of iPadOS and a powerful pro app ecosystem all in a device users can hold in one hand — there’s nothing else like iPad Pro.”
This is really impressive.
As the saying goes, it’s “a giant leap for mankind”. We now just have to get hold of this beast and found out what it offers in the real world. Keep in mind that the Ipad Pro has never disappointed.
The device has a new eight-core M1 processor, the same chip that powers the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini. Apple claims this will deliver “a big jump in performance” over the previous generation. The graphics performance is over 1,500 times faster, per the company. The chip brings a number of new features, including a “next-generation 16-core Apple Neural engine” and an advanced image signal processor. Apple also says you can expect up to 10 hours of battery life from Wi-Fi models and nine hours from Wi-Fi + Cellular models.
A new processor, 5G, a promising camera, Thunderbolt and… a high price tag.

M1 Comes to iPad Pro

The breakthrough M1 chip takes the industry-leading performance of iPad Pro to an entirely new level. The 8-core CPU design features the world’s fastest CPU cores in low-power silicon — delivering up to 50 percent faster CPU performance than A12Z Bionic. The 8-core GPU is in a class of its own, delivering up to 40 percent faster GPU performance. This combination of CPU and graphics performance on iPad Pro widens its lead as the fastest device of its kind. Powerful custom technologies, including a next-generation 16-core Apple Neural Engine, an advanced image signal processor (ISP), a unified, high-bandwidth memory architecture with up to 16GB of memory, 2x faster storage, and up to 2TB capacity, make iPad Pro more capable than ever. The industry-leading power efficiency of M1 enables all of that amazing performance along with all-day battery life in the thin and light design of iPad Pro.1 Because M1 shares the same fundamental architecture of A-series chips, iPadOS is already optimized to take full advantage of the powerful technologies in M1 to easily handle everything from simple navigation to the most demanding workflows.

12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR Display Brings Extreme Dynamic Range to iPad Pro

The new Liquid Retina XDR display brings the stunning front-of-screen performance of the Pro Display XDR to the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Engineered with a new cutting-edge mini-LED design that uses over 10,000 LEDs across the entire back of the display, the Liquid Retina XDR display features up to 1000 nits of full-screen brightness, 1600 nits of peak brightness, and a phenomenal 1 million-to-1 contrast ratio to enhance creative workflows. The result is a stunning visual experience that reflects what can be seen in the real world by capturing the brightest highlights and the most subtle details in even the darkest images. Now creative professionals, including photographers, videographers, and filmmakers, can view and edit true-to-life HDR content on a large display they can take anywhere. The new Liquid Retina XDR display includes other advanced technologies that can also be found in the 11-inch iPad Pro, including ProMotion, True Tone, and P3 wide color support, delivering an unmatched mobile cinematic viewing experience for HDR and Dolby Vision content.

The 11-inch model starts at $799 (Wi-Fi) and $999 (Wi-Fi + Cellular), and the 12.9-inch one begins at $1,099 (Wi-Fi) and $1,299 (Wi-Fi + Cellular). Education pricing is also available: college students can get the 11-inch model for $749 and the 12.9-inch model for $999.

Both models will be available in the second half of May, with preorders going live on April 30th.

Why Young Adults Feel Lost in Their 20s

It is no longer a secret that our generation ( I was born in the 90s) is more confused than the previous generation. My grandfather was financially stable by the time he was just 20 and he started a family later when he was just 21. My dad was financially stable and owned a house by 25. It was actually common for people in their 20s to be stable than the opposite, back then, people were responsible by the time they were just 16. Nowadays, 30 is the new 16. What changed?

Writing as a millennial myself it is natural to take a defensive position because I don’t own a house, not even a car yet in the 60s people our age basically had life figured out. Looking at different angles, there things that keep popping up- things like, “millennials are just damn lazy!” and “you are a spoiled generation”. The only way to know the truth is by examining the facts. Here are some:

  1. The world is harsher than it was 50-100 years ago. In all honesty, your grandparents were born during the greatest economic boom of all time. The economy was booming after world war 2, and almost everyone had a nice cushy job and able to save as currencies around the world were less inflated. So it was easy for your grandparents to save and invest, banks readily gave loans and life was generally easy.
  2. Our parents and grandparents worked hard, we are kinda lazy. Its hard to accept this but it’s true. Remember our folks had to go to the fields to work on crops early in the morning then run/walk 20kms to school, that build a strong work ethic in them. They grew up knowing that hard work pays, anyone who didn’t work was deprived of food; this taught them that they had to work for a living. Fast forward to our generation, we are lazy- that’s the general truth. We are much more fulfilled in celebrating other people’s success on Instagram than to work hard for our own success. I am in my 20s and frankly speaking, my grandmother has more grit and work stamina than I do- she’s a machine, a damn bloody machine that just keeps going. I cannot match her. If I had my grandmothers work ethic in today’s world, trust me hamundibate (you won’t catch up with me).
  3. We are entitled. Yes we are. We are that generation that got medals for participation and that fostered a sense of entitlement. We think we deserve this and that just because we think the world owes us everything. We rather complain than going out there and hustle. We rather watch mum and dad go to work and bring back the beacon than working up early in the morning and hustle. Mum and dad will be gone soon and what are going to do?
  4. The system is rigged. The honest truth is: if you don’t know someone, it’s hard to make it even though you are an honest hard worker. Jobs get advertised when they have already been filled by a relative or friend, now its about nepotism rather than ability- no wonder why our economy is tanking. I do know of people who made it regardless of the system and that means we too can make it even if the system is rigged.
  5. We do things for clout. Instead of saving to invest money, we buy things we do not need, to impress people we do not like with things we barely afford. That keeps us living paycheck to paycheck and before we know it, we are 40 with nothing to show than filtered pictures on Instagram.

It is important to note that these are my observations and they reflect my opinions. Let’s have a discussion, comment below.

Is Africa even serious about 5g?

The hottest topic in tech right now is 5g. Everyone is talking about how 5g will change our daily lives with some being pessimistic about it while others are overly optimistic. I lean on the optimistic side. Consider this: 5g will be so fast that 4g is like a tortoise in comparison. In all fairness, 5g is like a rocket while 4g is like a bicycle; the speed difference is just massive. With 5g, we will be able to fully connect the internet of things. Imagine a network of self driving cars in sync to avoid traffic jams and maximise on efficiency. With 5g, you can have an operation while you are in Zimbabwe and the surgeon is on the other side of the world. Candidly, there will be problems with 5g but thats a topic for another day. Let’s dive into our topic.

Africa is quite slow when it comes to adapting new technology, even if that tech originated from the continent (no, I am not saying 5g originated from Africa, I am just saying in a general sense). This hinders growth as slow adoption can delay benefits of using tech earlier. Take Youtube for instance, early adopters rode the early wave and they are raking in millions now while late adopters struggles to reach even 100 subs.

It’s impressive to note that things are changing as countries like Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa usually take bold moves in tech with Kenya actually being among the best countries in fintech. Kenya and South Africa are currently the only countries that have rolled out 5g networks. Thats just two countries out of 54 countries. Compare to 25 countries in Europe that now have 5g and 31 in Asia. We are not doing enough.

This makes you wonder whether Netone, Telecel or Econet even have CEOs that are up to date with times. Early adoption can be the sole determining factor to create a monopoly. Sadly, some parts in Zimbabwe barely even have a connection to 2g.
