For some of us, life as a single parent is completely new. We don’t know what we’re going to do or where we’re going to live. It can be difficult to adjust to being your own boss and taking care of yourself – especially when you have kids!Right around this time last year, I was in the process of figuring out how I wanted to spend my life. I was ready to make some changes, start a new chapter in my life, and find solace in my true identity. This past February, my baby girl joined me on tour as a family. My husband and I are still getting used to being a team again, but it’s so worth it! As a single parent, there’s not really much that amazes me anymore! Because now, with my little one at home and me touring full-time, it’s just me and the camera for the majority of our session together!

It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m so glad I get to share it with all of you!
Finding acceptance in my family
One of the things that makes me happiest in my life is having my family and friends around me. Growing up, I was really alone in this world. My family was mostly away from home. I never really knew anyone that special until I met my husband. Then, with my child on the way, I became a valuable member of the extended family.
As a single parent, having this support network is amazing. It’s really helped me through some really tough times. Having a support system is incredibly important, because without it, it’s really difficult to find your own peace.
