I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Brevity is the soul of wit.” Well, that’s about as succinct as it gets. While there are plenty of important words in this post (like “assess” and “career”), we’re not going to beat around the bush: these days, it’s all about being concise. We like our Instagram posts short and sweet; we like our tweets direct; hell, even our articles are getting shorter by the day. And if you’re looking to become more efficient or effective at anything, then learning how to be brief will only help your cause! So here goes:

Start your day with enthusiasm, purpose and action.

Start your day with enthusiasm, purpose and action.

Your attitude determines what you’re going to do today, so it pays to have a positive outlook on life.

Study people who are already successful in the areas you desire to be.

If you’re looking to make money, the first step is to study people who are already successful in the areas you desire to be. You can find these people by looking at many different things:

  • What do they have?
  • How do they use it?
  • How does it help them achieve their goals?

See yourself achieving your goals.

  • You can use visualization to achieve your goals.
  • Visualizing your goals is a powerful way to reach them, and it’s been shown to work.
  • To start using visualizations for yourself, try one of these methods:
  • Imagine what life will be like when you’ve achieved your goal (e.g., “I am now happy,” “I have more friends,” etc.)
  • Visualize yourself doing something specific that will help you reach your goal (e.g., study harder so that you get good grades).

Lower your voice.

  • Lower your voice.
  • Don’t raise it, don’t yell, and definitely don’t be loud or obnoxious.
  • Don’t be rude, aggressive or harsh.
  • Don’t be mean or condescending to others—especially those who can do things for you that you cannot do for yourself (like spend money).

Take a different route towards your goals.

  • Take a different route towards your goals.
  • Change your perspective and see whether you can find an alternative solution to the problem you’re facing.
  • Don’t be afraid to try something new, or to do something differently than before.

Help someone else achieve their goal.

Helping others is a great way to achieve your own goals.

The more you help others, the more you will be rewarded.

The more you help others, the more you will feel good about yourself.

Take some quiet time every day to think about what you want and why you want it.

You’ll be amazed at how much clearer your thinking becomes and how much more confident you feel when you have clearly defined goals. When you are clear on what you want, why and how it can happen, the next step is to take action towards getting there.

Take some quiet time every day to think about what you want and why you want it. Then come up with a plan for reaching those goals. For example: “I have always wanted to travel through Europe.” Now ask yourself why? Is it for education or pleasure? How can I do this? What would make me happy afterward?” Maybe taking an extended vacation from work would allow me some extra time on my hands so I could spend several months in Europe without worrying about income.” Once these questions are answered then we can start creating a budget that will allow us our dream vacation!

Create a tangible vision board that you can check daily.

In a previous article, I wrote about the power of visualizing your goals. A vision board is a collage of images, words and phrases that represent your goals. It’s a great way to visualize your goals and the actions you will take to achieve them.

For example, if one of your financial goals is to save enough money for retirement, then you might want to include pictures of happy retirees or quotes from experts saying how important it is to start saving early on in life. If another goal is buying a home or getting married, then perhaps some images of houses or wedding rings would help inspire you as well as words like “I am worthy” or “This house/wedding ring belongs to me”.

There are many ways in which creating this tangible vision board can help aid in achieving success:

  • It serves as an inspiration point throughout the day. -You can see what has already been achieved. -You can see how far along you are towards reaching each goal. -It keeps track of all the steps needed along their journey toward this goal.

Write down what you are passionate about and then turn it into your career.

Write down what you are passionate about and then turn it into your career.

You can start by writing down a list of all the things that you are passionate about. For example, I am passionate about helping people to achieve their goals. Once I have made my list, I write down my goals and plans for achieving those goals. Then I make a list of all the steps that I need to take in order to get there! It is really important that when you set these goals they are S.M.A.R.T (specific measurable achievable relevant time based)

Surround yourself with positive people that want to see you succeed.

Surround yourself with positive people that want to see you succeed. You need to have people around you who will encourage and motivate you, as well as help keep things in perspective when things get tough. Surrounding yourself with negative or unsupportive people will only hold you back from reaching your goals and accomplishing your dreams.

Learn how to use the power of words for good or bad and how they affect your life.

What you say and what you think about money has a powerful impact on your life.

Words can be used to motivate, demotivate, encourage, or discourage. When we don’t feel good about our finances, we tend to talk negatively about them. We also tend not to think positive thoughts about money because that’s just not what our minds are programmed to do as human beings (unless you’re consciously working at it). By thinking positively about money and using empowering words, we can change our subconscious programming so that our mind naturally thinks positively about finance and makes decisions accordingly for us!

Conclusion

If you’re ready to make some changes, start by taking a look at what your goals are. Do you want to see yourself in a new home or car? Are you interested in helping others achieve their goals? Whatever it is that motivates you, remember that the key is to use positive words and actions that will lead towards those goals.
