Cloud Hosting

The cloud is where cloud hosting lives. You’ve probably heard the term “the cloud” before, but what does it mean? Well, it’s a way of storing data (including your website) that doesn’t require you to buy hardware or maintain the servers that house your data, like it would with a regular hosting company. Instead, your data is hosted on a remote server that you access via the internet. Pros – The major pro of cloud hosting is scalability. As your business grows, you can easily add more servers to handle the added traffic. Another pro is cost. Cloud hosting is more expensive than other hosting options, but it is still less expensive than buying your own hardware. Cons – The one major con associated with cloud hosting is that your website may experience occasional outages. While you won’t lose access to your site entirely, there may be times when your site is inaccessible for a few minutes or even a few hours. Another con is that some hosting providers are not reliable. Before you sign up for a cloud hosting plan, make sure you read reviews and/or do thorough research so that you find a provider that will be reliable for your needs.
