Visit Zimbabwe This Christmas

Zimbabwe is the perfect holiday destination for a Christmas or New Years getaway. The country offers a wide variety of activities that can be enjoyed by all members of the family, and you will also find that it is one of the warmest countries around at this time of year.

Festive Fun

Zimbabwe is a wonderful place to be during this time of year. With Christmas coming up, it’s the perfect time to visit Victoria Falls and Harare.

You can also visit Bulawayo and Mutare if you have time. If you’re in Kariba for Christmas, there is an island called Kanyemba Island across the lake from Kariba town where there are lots of activities like quad biking, horse riding and more.

The Great Zimbabwe National Monument is also worth a visit as well as Matobo Hills National Park.

Warm Climate

Zimbabwe is one of the best countries for you to visit this Christmas. With its warm climate and beautiful scenery, Zimbabwe is a great place to spend your holiday.

Most people think of Africa as being hot and humid but Zimbabwe has a mild climate with temperatures that rarely go above 30 degrees Celsius throughout the day.

The country’s highlands have an average annual rainfall of 1 000mm (39 inches) compared to its hamlets which receive only 1 500mm (59 inches). The dry season is between June and August but it doesn’t mean there is no rain during winter; on the contrary, you will experience heavy downpours during this period if it rains in your country at all!

Family Friendly

Zimbabwe is a great holiday destination for families. It is safe, clean and friendly. There are lots of things to do and see in the country.

If you are travelling with children, there are plenty of activities that they can enjoy during their stay in Zimbabwe.

There are also numerous outdoor activities such as waterfalls, bird watching or game drives that will keep both adults and kids amused on their safari adventure.

You can motivate yourself without being mean to yourself.

The next time you find yourself in the midst of a self-pitying pity party, stop and ask yourself:

  • How many people would love to be in my shoes?
  • What am I doing that’s making me successful?
  • Why do I deserve this success?

Conclusion

There’s a lot to love about Zimbabwe. The country has a rich history, beautiful landscapes and friendly people. So why not take the opportunity to visit it this Christmas? You can get there by airplane or bus, but whichever option you choose it will be an adventure.
